We can continue making historic progress to end child poverty by renewing the expanded Child Tax Credit. Not to mention, the Build Back Better Act makes key investments in affordable housing, elder and child care, and clean energy to address the climate crisis.

It’s our best shot at passing massively popular legislation that will deliver meaningful results for everyday Americans. We can’t let this opportunity pass us by.

When Mitch McConnell and the GOP stood in the way of passing the American Rescue Plan Act, we refused to accept their inaction. Democrats extended unemployment insurance, sped up vaccinations, and saved union pension plans covering 10 million people — all after months of hardships and instability caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

With Democratic majorities in the House and Senate, and President Biden in the White House, the path forward is clear: Now is the time to pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework and the Build Back Better Act together.
