Friend,

I know how hard this year has been for many small businesses. That’s why I’ve been leading the fight in Congress for an equitable recovery. As Chairwoman of the House Small Business Committee, I led the charge for a generational investment in our small businesses, which included funding for entrepreneurship training for veterans and the formerly incarcerated, access to capital for underserved communities, a massive investment in the SBA’s Office of Native American affairs, and more!

Our small businesses are the cornerstone of our local economies -- when they thrive, our communities thrive -- which is why it’s so important to ensure they have the resources they need. As we reopen, in New York and around the country, we can’t let small businesses -- especially those that are women- and minority-owned -- get left behind . I'll continue to advocate for those essential investments.

Despite objections from my Republican colleagues, I’ve fought hard for small businesses throughout the pandemic and remain commited to finding a path forward for additional emergency small business relief , and with your help, I’ll continue to do so in 2022 and beyond. Can I count on your support to make it possible? [[link removed]]

As we move into the next stage of the pandemic, I will continue to advocate for small businesses, as I have since day one.

I hope you’ll join me. [[link removed]]

Together,
Nydia
