Today I’m teaming up with my good friend and colleague Democrat Melanie Stansbury -- Representative of New Mexico’s first district and a large advocate of protecting the environment and helping her district’s working families (like me) -- in a digital joint fundraiser.

Before I go any further about the work the two of us are doing in Congress, will you split a donation of $10 or more between our campaigns?

Melanie and I sit on the House Science, Space and Technology committee together. We both care about funding research on scientific developments and protecting our environment.

While Melanie and I have spent our time in Congress fighting to pass pandemic relief and more, Republicans are getting ready to do whatever it takes to defeat us.

With only five seats standing between Republicans and House majority, losing either one of our races means losing control of the House and all of our hard-won progress with it.

We’ve accomplished far too much to be distracted by the GOP’s ambitions. We are continuing to organize and mobilize in order to win, but we can’t do it without you.
