Friend,
Mitch McConnell is crystal clear — Senate Republicans won’t give us an ounce of help when it comes to passing the Build Back Better Act .
Now more than ever, Democrats need to unify. We can’t leave folks behind or pit one group against each other. We must pass the Build Back Better Act so the House can move President Biden’s agenda forward with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework and the Build Back Better Act hand-in-hand.

I’m doing everything I can to pass the Build Back Better Act but it’s no simple task without a single vote to spare in a 50-50 Senate. I’m confident we will come to an agreement — because we need to deliver for the voters who turned out in droves to elect our slim Democratic majorities.
Despite a climate crisis that’s raging unabated, a severe lack of affordable child care, elder care, and housing, and the GOP’s biggest donors reaping the rewards of a tax code rigged in their favor, McConnell is still 100% focused on stopping President Biden’s administration.
But we can’t let McConnell get in the way of passing bold policies like my Clean Electricity plan, which will dramatically reduce carbon emissions and put us on the path to a clean energy economy.
It's imperative we pass the Build Back Better Act and move this bill and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework forward, hand-in-hand.
If you’re with me, sign my petition urging the Senate to pass the Build Back Better Act . Now is the time to act. [[link removed]]
