Women's March

John,

Over the weekend, our team was reading your responses to our Post-Rally for Abortion Justice Focus Group.

We want to thank the thousands of Women’s Marchers who shared their stories. We're so incredibly proud of this movement and the powerful message we sent to anti-abortion extremists when we took to the streets to make our resistance clear.

In just a moment we’re going to share with you some stories and responses that moved our team. We hope that after reading you’ll consider donating $3 or anything you can to help power our future organizing efforts and mobilizations so we can continue fighting to make abortion legal, accessible and free for everyone in America.

Here are just some of the stories Women’s Marchers shared with us:

"It was a wonderful experience. I had my daughter and my daughter-in-law by my side. Seeing so many strong women of all ages come together for a cause in one place was awe-inspiring!"

"Youth were a big part of the rally! I have worked as gender justice advocate, litigator, and policy maker all my life, and although I was not going to miss the march, an added bonus was chaperoning my daughter's High School 'Women's Empowerment Association' to the march. The students were energized to keep the momentum going even after the march, planning to do write ups in their school newspaper and connect with the Mayor of Mountain View, the Assembly member and Senator, who were all at the march and met briefly with the students."

"I'm so thankful for the people that attended the march. It felt like joining a family to fight for something so important to me and millions of others. Honestly, it was my first in person protest. Prior I struggled to march in the streets due to a phobia of crowds, but this was such a positive and reinforcing experience that I'll be more than motivated to join again."

"My last protest was in 1971. I was against the Vietnam War! It felt good then it felt great today! This fight must never stop!"

"I’ve been marching for women’s rights for 50 years! I’ll continue to march as long as it’s necessary."

Reading about your experiences at the Rally for Abortion Justice motivates us to work harder than ever to make sure we rise up to this moment and do the hard work required so we can protect the rights enshrined to us under Roe v. Wade.

But it’s going to take all of us working together to fight back against attacks on abortion access.

All of our organizing work around reproductive rights is funded by grassroots donors like you, John. Whether you can give $50, $10, or $1 — every dollar helps us plan future mobilizations and grow our movement for abortion justice.

Thank you,

Women’s March
