Hi everyone,

This Saturday at noon will be our Monthly General Meeting! These meetings are the most important meetings in the chapter. This is where we convene the full membership to make decisions for the chapter. These are meetings where we take up campaigns, approve mutual aid projects, vote on spending money or appointing representatives, and set the political direction for the chapter. Join us! All are welcome to join these meetings, although only DSA members will be eligible to vote on proposals. You can register for the call here.

We'll be holding elections on Saturday for Direct Service Committee Chair, Municipal Action Committee Chair, and Project Coordinator. More info about each of the positions can be found here. If you are a member in good standing and would like to be in the running, send an email to [email protected]! Please try to let us know ASAP if you're interested.

Our members are our the highest decision-making body in our organization, so if you can only make one meeting a month, make it this one! If you can't but you're a member and you'd like to vote, you can assign a proxy. Just send us an email naming your proxy. A member who is present may only hold up to two proxies.
