Have you heard the news? Earlier this afternoon, the Premier officially declared the District 16 Cornwall-Meadowbank by-election to have begun! Voting day will be on November 15th.



Greens couldn't be more ready for this. We have a fantastic candidate, Todd MacLean <[link removed]>. We have a strong and experienced campaign team who have been preparing for this for the past two months. And we have the PEI Green community coming together to win this by-election, and to have fun doing it!







For the past two and a half years, we have seen our team of eight Green MLAs leading change on the environment, on poverty, on healthcare, on social justice, gender equality, and good governance. Island Greens have become PEI's leading voice on the issues that matter most to Islanders, unafraid to tackle age-old "wicked problems" as well as the more modern crises in healthcare, housing and climate change.?



Electing Todd MacLean will not only give the residents of Cornwall-Meadowbank the best MLA they've ever had, but will bolster our Green team in the Legislature and send a clear message to the government that it needs to get its priorities straight and start looking after our collective wellbeing.
