Thursday night, I took part in a candidate forum sponsored by Indivisible Salt City and Indivisible NY-24. It was a fantastic discussion of all of the issues and challenges we face across central and western New York and how we're going to solve them.

Here are just a few of the personal stories and words of support you all shared with me before our forum:

Dana, thank you for running again! As a college student and aspiring political scientist, it is so heartening to see a progressive female candidate who has such a command of the policy issues. I am particularly proud to support you due to your background in education. My peers and I are confronted with mounting student loan debt, a Department of Education who attacks Title IX, and an administration hostile to the very ideals we are taught. Thank you for being a voice for us, and please continue to fight for our futures! - C.H., Manlius

I left the forum feeling tremendously excited about continuing our campaign to flip this seat. Our district deserves a representative who fights to ensure that every one of us gets a fair shot at success.

But we're not counting on corporate PACs to get us there -- we're counting on grassroots supporters like you.
