Here is just a small sampling of the COVID-19 misinformation my opponent has been peddling:

Masks are bad for children and increase social anxiety
Children are at higher risk of depression from wearing masks than they are at risk of contracting COVID-19
The Delta variant is being blown out of proportion
“Children are not at risk”
“Wearing masks has pretty much been debunked”
As a mother, I am far more concerned about my son contracting COVID-19 and falling ill than having to wear a piece of cloth on his face. And I can tell you firsthand that my 9-year-old has no issue wearing a mask.

Our community deserves leaders who will lead with science, not misinformation. My first priority will always be the safety of our community, our neighbors, and of course our children.
