I was talking with a supporter on the phone yesterday and she said something I’ve heard a lot, articulated in different ways. She said: "This isn't what we marched in the streets in the '70s for."

She was talking about the Republican attack on women’s rights, reproductive rights, and voting rights — and how Democrats aren’t doing enough to stop it.

As the first woman who would represent this seat, I will always fight hard for women’s rights and reproductive freedom for all genders. Can you donate now so I can become the first woman to represent this district in Congress? -> [link removed]

The supporter also asked (about passing the Build Back Better Act): “Where is Joe Biden?” AKA why isn’t Biden putting pressure on members of Congress to pass his own agenda? He did when he was Obama’s Vice President, so why not now?

This isn’t the time for caving to Republicans and the conservative, corporate Democrats who enable them. This is the time to push for bold climate, housing, gender justice, anti-poverty, and healthcare plans. Please donate now to help me do that in Congress. -> [link removed]

I wouldn’t be here running for Congress if it weren’t for the generations of activists who worked hard before me, and I will never take their sacrifices for granted. I will keep fighting to expand on their progress and make our society fairer. Please join me:
