The 2022 race is starting to kick into gear. One of our Republican
opponents recently announced that he raised over $200,000 in the first
eight weeks of his campaign.

It’s still early, but this shows us Republicans are going to target our
district, and that this will be one of the key races that Republican super
PACs and conservative groups invest in.

Katie’s proud to be fighting for Orange County families. She’s holding
folks accountable—from government officials to Big Oil executives, and
working to make life better for working parents.

But to compete with our eventual opponent and make sure we can keep Katie
in Congress, we’ll need to run a strong and strategic campaign. In 2020,
Katie won with 53% of the vote, so we can’t take anything for granted.
