We all say we support free speech. But you, as a PEN America supporter, actually put your money where your mouth is. ([link removed])

You understand that free speech is more than just the First Amendment. It’s standing up for librarians who face death threats. It’s defending teachers who share challenging viewpoints. And sometimes, it’s holding our noses while also speaking out in defense of people’s views we abhor.

It’s not easy. People come after us from all sides. But we know you have our backs.
