It's National Estate Planning Awareness Week

Almost 70% of American adults do not have an estate plan in place to take care of the people and the causes that are most important to them. Today marks the beginning of National Estate Planning Awareness Week, which was established to educate the community about estate plans and their role in financial wellness.

In recognition of this week, we invite you to create a legacy of hope by including a gift to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in your estate plans.

To guide you in your estate planning, we’re partnering with FreeWill to give you a 100% free way to prepare for your future, take care of the people you love the most, and to play a crucial role in saving lives and supporting those affected by suicide. FreeWill is an online tool that allows you to write a free, legally valid will online and to support AFSP with a lasting gift that costs nothing today.

If you already have estate plans in place and would like to make AFSP aware that you have included us as a beneficiary, please let us know by completing a Legacy of Hope commitment form.

Estate Planning is a powerful way to increase your impact on the causes you care about and is an important element of your financial wellness. Join AFSP in leaving a legacy of hope for a world free of suicide. The advancements of tomorrow begin today.
