Sorry to bother you on a Monday, John, but I just heard back from my friends over at Defend the Senate and wanted to give you an update on their October fundraising goal.

It sounds like after this weekend we’re closing in on our October fundraising goal, but we still need about $4,500 today to stay on track.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that hitting this month’s goal is critical to Democrats’ long-term success.

Every grassroots donation we receive goes directly towards powering our mission to protect and grow Democratic power in the U.S. Senate.
