For the eighth year in a row, Georgia has been named the “Top State for Doing Business” by Area Development, the nation’s leading corporate site selection publication!

When I ran for our state’s top office, I promised to put hard-working Georgians first.

It’s a promise I’m proud to have delivered on.

• We’ve put a ton of work into expanding and enhancing our nation-leading workforce development programs, with a strong focus on building up rural Georgia;

• We’re blessed to have amazingly resilient job creators;

• And we’ve fought hard to protect our strong pro-business environment –by keeping taxes low, reducing burdensome regulations, and fighting back against pandemic politics and letting the data guide us last year to reopen our state for business as soon as possible.

The result?

Our state set new economic development records during the last fiscal year, despite the pandemic. $11 billion in new investments represents a 46% year-over-year increase, and with 33,439 new jobs created we beat the previous state record by 5%!

Conservative leadership is building a better Georgia. But now, we have a real fight on our hands to protect all we’ve accomplished and keep up our efforts.
