Look, sending these fundraising emails isn't why I'm running for president.

I'm running for president because we are in the battle for the soul of our nation. I know that I have what it takes to restore the democratic values that we hold dearly as Americans.

And I know that Donald Trump is doing everything he can to make sure that I'm not his opponent in 2020. He's scared of having to go up against us.

There are now just 100 days until Iowa. While these emails may be annoying, the money we make from emails like this one is how we pay for the resources we need to win in Iowa.

If we don't make it, we'll have to cut our budget in Iowa -- the budget we already decided on because it will make sure we win.

We're still only 90% of the way to our $250,000 midnight fundraising goal and I know your $5 contribution will help us get over the top.

So I'll ask again before I sign off and get back to work: will you chip in that $5 before this deadline strikes?
