As you may have heard, the East Bay Young Democrats, East Bay YIMBY, and East Bay for Everyone have all endorsed Courtney Welch for Emeryville City Council. The November 2nd election is quickly approaching and ballots are out, so EBYD is hosting a phone bank this Tuesday, Oct. 19th from 5:30 – 7:00pm to call our neighbors and ensure we elect a progressive, pro-housing candidate to the council.

Courtney Welch was born and raised in the East Bay, is an experienced civic leader, and a proud mother of two. Her priorities include maintaining a financially solvent city, effectively addressing homelessness, increasing affordable housing and alternative housing models, promoting active governance of public transit, empowering small business owners, and bridging the gap between law enforcement and our communities.
