I’m proud of the progress we’ve made together over the past two years.
Whether it’s working to expand Medicaid, protecting a woman’s right to make her own health choices, ordering a state strategy to fight climate change, insisting on more funding for education, instituting paid parental leave for state employees, appointing the most diverse cabinet in the history of our state along with smart, diverse, independent judges, strengthening civil rights for the LGBTQ community, tackling the opioid epidemic – our agenda is moving North Carolina forward.
But, John, our progress is maddening to the far-right. If they could get their way, they’d gut what we’ve achieved.
We still have a lot to do. We can’t rest, particularly in the face of the growing attacks from our right-wing opponents. I’m working hard, but I need your help.
