John, I have good and bad news.

The good news is that since Josh emailed you this morning, we saw a huge surge in donations. Folks from across the Commonwealth have stepped up to make sure we keep the most critical Governor’s seat in the country blue.

The bad news is that we are still $20,433 away from our $150,000 fundraising goal. This is the first major goal of our campaign, so I don’t want us to come up short, because all eyes are on us. We have no choice here — we have to show up strong.

Josh is running for Governor to take on the big fights for Pennsylvanians — to protect voting rights and reproductive rights, to make our government work for everyone, and to take real action to improve health care, the economy, and education.

At the same time, the Republican candidates for Governor are running campaigns that undermine our democracy and promote dangerous conspiracy theories. They’re funneling money into this Pennsylvania to try to flip it red — and they’ll attack Josh every chance they get, so we have to be ready to fight back.
