Clean water is a basic human right. This is a foundational principle for the League of Conservation Voters, but it's coming under attack every day.

The Trump administration has launched an all-out assault on the Clean Water Act and the safeguards it provides for our waterways. Rather than protecting our clean water, this administration has sold it out to the highest bidder, allowing polluters to destroy our wetlands and streams and gutting protections against harmful toxic pollutants like mercury and arsenic.

LCV is fighting back against these attacks on access to clean water, but we are not doing it alone. We know you care deeply about protecting clean water, too. In fact, LCV supporters earlier this year listed clean water as one of their top environmental priorities, which we turned into the People's Priorities collection for the LCV Shop.
