Hi John,
Everyone has a right to be safe.
And in order to ensure that safety, we need an expert’s approach. One where specialists — mental health professionals, medical responders, and police officers — work together to better address the issues facing our communities. Getting the right response at the right time is the best thing to keep us safe —and police should not have to handle every situation.
This November 2, residents in Minneapolis have a chance to vote yes on Question 2 to build this approach by creating a comprehensive Department of Public Safety and we must help them get out the vote. This department will unite safety and health resources under one roof, to protect and serve the people of Minneapolis. When you chip in to Color Of Change PAC, your contribution will amplify our grassroots organizing that’s unifying the Minneapolis community.
I want to contribute another amount
But, you know our work is not over. That’s why we’re prioritizing long-term infrastructure building so that we can run independent campaigns that build Black political power on its own terms as that’s severely needed if we are to survive.
We have less than 20 days to mobilize as many eligible voters in Minneapolis as possible. We’re getting the word out and addressing concerns with facts, but the clock is ticking and we need you, John. Can you chip in now for comprehensive public safety in Minneapolis?
Until justice is real,
Arisha Hatch
