CA GOP Chair: "Republicans are ready to win in 2022. Replacing Mike Levin is a priority”
My race is heating up, John.
FIRST: We got word that our self-funding, multi-millionaire opponent dumped another $500,000 into his campaign coffers to unseat me. THEN: The chair of the California Republican Party called me out by name in an op-ed as one of their “top targets” in the midterms.
In the op-ed, the GOP chair claims that the Republicans’ path to the House Majority runs through our state. John, I have to level with you: She’s not wrong.
After two tough elections, I wish I could tell you things will get easier. But we have every reason to believe that keeping the House Majority now means we must win our reelection campaign here in CA-49. The GOP knows that too, so we can't let our guard down for a moment -- which is why I need to ask:
Will you pitch in $3 today? We've set an urgent goal of raising $15,000 before the week ends to counter this news, and since I don’t take a dime from corporate PACs, I'm relying on individual donors like you to keep this district blue. Can you donate today?

While the Republicans work around the clock to flip this seat and reclaim the majority, I've been advocating for our community every day in Congress. I'm leading the effort to protect our coastlines by banning offshore drilling, and I'm fighting to make sure our community's needs are accounted for in the Build Back Better Act.
All that to say that your support is why we’re able to keep making progress. We can’t stop now, so I’m grateful for whatever you can give toward this urgent fundraising response.
Thank you,
Mike
