Dear Friend,

I am so grateful to be able to provide you this update prepared and issued this morning personally by Cardinal Burke on the gradual improvement of his health, his return to being able to offer daily the Holy Mass, and his intention to exercise his pastoral duty to offer sound direction and encouragement to the faithful.

As His Eminence gradually recovers his full health, he asks all of us to help him prepare with our fervent prayers.

In the October update, Cardinal Burke provides a reflection and exhorts us to get and remain on the proper path to peace and victory. Namely, His Eminence asks us to strengthen our commitment to reciting the Holy Rosary every day. In writing about the daily praying of the Holy Rosary, Cardinal Burke makes a special note to say about Our Lady of the Rosary, “She continues to be the channel by which the grace of Christ wins the victory over sin in our daily lives.”

I know all of you along with the entire outreach apostolate arm of Cardinal Burke, Catholic Action for Faith and Family will heed the guidance provided from His Eminence in his letter and remain fervent in our prayers for his full recovery.
