Republican Attorneys General are STILL fighting vaccine mandates, friend. Learn more:
Friend,
The COVID-19 vaccines are a massive scientific achievement. It’s remarkable that we were able to develop three safe and effective vaccines so quickly, and we should be grateful that the Biden administration was able to make them so widely available.
But there’s one group of people who aren’t so grateful, and are, in fact, undermining the whole process: Republican Attorneys General.
In response to the Biden administration’s requirement that health care organizations and large businesses should require COVID-19 vaccines for their workers, Republican AGs in red states are suing the Biden administration with preposterous claims about the mandates' supposed unconstitutionality.
But the truth is, the administration’s mandate is backed by science and represents a common sense response that will save lives. Vaccine mandates have been a part of American life for travel, for military members, in our schools, and so much more for decades.
This is just another example of Republican AGs putting their constituents' lives at risk to stoke the flames of their culture wars. Republican AGs care about their political futures more than our communities.
Republican AGs are trying to argue that the mandate is unnecessary because COVID-19 doesn’t present a grave danger to workers or represent a true workplace hazard.
It’s infuriating that they still are making this argument, even after 700,000 Americans have lost their lives to COVID-19.
We need Dem AGs in office to advocate for lifesaving vaccine mandates, and we can’t let Republicans continue to play political games with the safety of our communities.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in the next two years, we need your support – will you chip in today?
