Today is the last day of our mid-month fundraising push to raise an additional $5,000 over email so we can stay on track with the growth and efforts of our progressive movement. If we're going to be honest, John, it's looking like we're going to fall short of raising what we need to reach our goal. Right now, we're just $1,792 away from raising the full $5,000 we need to stay on track with our plans and continue to push our movement forward at full speed ahead.
We're not just working to ensure Jamaal can continue legislating and fighting for our values in Congress. We're also building up a progressive movement unlike anything NY-16 has seen before — and we won't stop until we see the improvements and policies we've been calling for.
What's more, we're now facing even more challenges to our progressive movement. From establishment Democrats attempting to block our efforts in Congress, to Jamaal's first official challenger fighting for our seat, we need to do everything we can to ensure our movement is strong enough to withstand the obstacles ahead.
