Los Angeles is releasing about 100 Criminal Illegal Aliens Each Day

Congress won't protect our nation or help the President enforce our law

It's not making headlines this week, but America has a law enforcement crisis.

Tim Robbins, ICE's top deportation official, told Congress on Tuesday that as many as 100 criminal illegal immigrants are being released into the Los Angeles, California, area every day.

Now look at the alarming map produced by the Center for Immigration Studies. All those push pins are cities, counties, and other jurisdictions who REFUSE to cooperate with ICE.

Some of these criminals go on to commit crimes against Americans and other immigrants.

While political Washington has its mind on anything but governing, the nation is suffering.

Congress has a constitutional duty to pass laws that bring safety and security to Americans. ONLY Congress can stop the sanctuary city outrage. True, most in Congress apparently don't want to take action on this crisis. That's why NumbersUSA exists -- to make Congress do what it does not want to do.

Look at these unhappy facts about sanctuary cities:

Sanctuary cities violate federal law, which states: "Federal, State, or local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict, any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual."

In essence, the judges which have protected sanctuary cities have ruled that the federal government is powerless to enforce the law. So, Congress must pass tougher laws to back the courts off their power grab.

In February 2018, ICE officers in California were forced to conduct at-large arrests in the community because they are not allowed in county jails. Of 212 aliens they caught that month, 195 were convicted criminals.

According to an ICE study, 10% of criminals released from sanctuary cities committed another crime... within three months.

Between 2008 and 2011, 85% of ICE arrests originated in local jails and state prisons.

There's no evidence that sanctuary city policies result in crime victims who are illegal aliens being more likely to come forward. In fact, since these policies release convicts back into their community, crime victims have reason to fear that if they cooperate with law enforcement, they'll be targeted for retribution.

These facts are horrifying, yet Congress refuses to support efforts to end sanctuary-city policies.

The bad news is that while our opponents are swimming in cash, our reserves are LOW.

For instance, the ACLU reported raising TWENTY TIMES more money by opposing Pres. Trump's immigration policies than they usually report. Google, Facebook, and much of the rest of the tech giants are dedicating hundreds of millions to help replace their American workforce with cheap, imported labor. Please help us fight these giants!

I've long told you about how we can fight while being incredibly out-funded. We don't have to fund political campaigns, or buy an army of lobbyists to wine, dine and spoil Congress. Because we have the American public behind us, we don't need any of those expensive tools the billionaires have to get attention. Our army of activists gets Congress's attention for us.

We'll never compete with the money our opponents raise off of their corporate puppet-masters, but we do need more money than we've been raising lately.
