This isn't the news we wanted to share with you today, but we need to turn our fundraising around before it's too late. We only missed our goal by about $5,000. To make up for it, we've extended our mid-month deadline to midnight on MONDAY to close the gap.

Our extreme opponent has the backing of national dark money groups who have made defeating Laura their top priority. We can't risk our fundraising falling further behind this month -- our opponent could see it as a sign of weakness.
We're planning on increasing our campaign spending next month. If we fall behind on our fundraising now, we'll have to start thinking of places we can cut our budget -- and it's too early in the cycle to think about that.
