I've got good news and bad news to share with you, John. I hate to email you on a Saturday, but it's important -- I'll keep this short and sweet.
The Bad News: We've still got a gap in our fundraising, and it's officially past the halfway point of October. If we don't catch up by tonight, we'll need to take time and resources away from strategic planning and community outreach.
Now here's the good news: We’ve seen our fundraising gap be cut in half since Kara emailed yesterday, thanks to many grassroots donors stepping up. We only need to raise $3,399 to get back on track, and if everyone reading this email chips in just $3, we won't need to make any changes to our schedule this month.
That's the power of grassroots fundraising, everyone chips in a little to build something big enough to drive real change in America. And we wouldn't want it any other way, John. Our campaign is by the people, for the people.
