John,
The out-of-touch Republican leaders in the Kansas Legislature who spent most of this year blocking Medicaid expansion to 150,000 working Kansans are now trying to put up even more hurdles.
The GOP's trying to make Medicaid expansion so much more complicated than it actually is. The nearly 40 states who've already expanded Medicaid have proven that the best way to do it is to pass a clean expansion bill. No additional burdensome requirements, no partial expansion, no block grants.
Kansans are once again being ignored by Republican lawmakers stuck in the Sam Brownback years. We can finally change that.

Republican leaders in Topeka have refused to put Medicaid expansion to a vote because they know that if the vast majority of Kansans had their way, it would pass both chambers and be on Gov. Laura Kelly’s desk to sign within a week.
If we elect more Democrats to the state legislature, it'll be so much easier to accomplish what Kansans want our leaders to actually do, from Medicaid expansion to fullly funding our public schools. Our momentum has only grown over the last several years – can you keep it going?
