John,

We lost women's rights bulldog Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg just over a year ago today.

RBG was larger than life. Well into her eighties, she did pushups, squats, and curled dumbbells every morning.

RBG was just one of nine female students in her class of 500 at Harvard Law. The Dean of the Law School once asked her “Why are you here, taking the place of a man?”

Shortly after, she transferred to Columbia Law where she graduated first in her class in 1959. Yet, she didn't receive a job offer from a single New York City law firm.

“I had three strikes against me: One, I was Jewish; two, I was a woman. But the killer was that I was the mother of a 4-year-old child,” RBG later recounted.

She went on to serve on the United States Supreme Court for 27 years.

Now, Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump want to reverse all that RBG worked so hard for.

If Democrats lose a SINGLE seat in 2022, Mitch McConnell will become Senate Majority Leader once again. In this position, McConnell would refuse to bring a single Biden–Harris nominee to the Senate floor in the hopes that Trump wins again in 2024 — just like he did with Barack Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland in 2016, only to push through far-right Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanagh, and Amy Coney Barrett in rapid fire succession after Trump won.

That's why it's absolutely mission–critical that we do everything we can to protect and expand our Senate Majority in 2022, protect vulnerable incumbent Senators like Maggie Hassan and Catherine Cortez Masto, and elect Val Demings to replace Marco Rubio.

But New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan won her last race by just 1,017 votes and a recent poll shows Hassan down in her 2022 race by a whopping 8 points. Polling shows Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto losing by 2 points. And in the Florida Senate race, Democrat Val Demings is down 2 points to GOP Senator Marco Rubio in one of the only pick-up opportunities we have.

The future of RBG's legacy hangs in the balance here. If we don't raise another $1,477 by midnight tonight we'll have to dramatically scale back our plans, putting our fragile 50/50 Senate Majority and RBG's entire legacy at serious risk.

Please, as we celebrate RBG's legacy while Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump try to destroy it, there's never been a more important moment to rush a donation to stop them.

This can't wait, John: Will you please rush in $5, $10, or $25 right now to help us hit our critical fundraising deadline, protect our 50/50 Senate Majority, and prevent Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump from erasing RBG from the history books? >> [link removed]

We cannot thank you enough for all you did in 2020 to defeat Trump. We cannot thank you enough for all you're doing right now. It isn't easy, but the future of the country depends on you.

Let's never forget RBG. Thank you for all you do.
