"He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
- Micah 6:8
Africa & Europe
Please pray for the health and resilience of our IJM team. Many have experienced the loss of loved ones to COVID-19, and vaccine availability continues to be limited. Pray for increased access to vaccines globally, especially for those experiencing vulnerability.
Latin America
Thank you for your prayers last week for a case that our Bolivia team has worked on for over 10 years involving the sexual assault of an 11-year-old boy. The aggressor in this case, who was sentenced to 25 years, has officially appealed the sentence. Our team has provided all evidence requested by the court of appeals, and the next step is scheduling a hearing, which could take months.Pray for the hearing to be scheduled quickly, for wisdom for the judge who will review the case and for peace that surpasses all understanding for the survivor and his family as they await the court's decision.
South Asia
Please continue to pray for our ongoing studies exploring IJM’s impact on bonded labor and sex trafficking across South Asia. We have been working in some of these communities for over 20 years. Today, we are diving deep to see how IJM’s work has reduced human trafficking and improved the performance of justice systems. Pray for safety for our research teams as they travel to learn what has worked and where there are still gaps. Pray for our leaders as they use these insights to plan the future of our work in South Asia.

Praise God that two brothers rescued from forced labor slavery in Cambodia are now home! The brothers were initially employed for a Construction Company in Thailand, where they received accommodation and were able to travel freely. However, at the beginning of 2020, they were informed by their employer that they would be transferred to another location. When they were transported to Cambodia, payments were withheld and their passports were seized. Thanks to our IJM teams and local law enforcement, these brothers are safely back in Myanmar! Please pray for their continued healing as the IJM team and local partners in Myanmar provide support to ensure their continued care and safety.
IJM Global Office & Partners
IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Please join us in praying for all our valuable teams working towards the mission of IJM. As we are near the end of the year, pray for a renewed strength to finish strong. Pray that we can make our gratefulness for our supporters known and that they will feel appreciated for the role they play in helping send rescue to vulnerable women, children and men around the world.
The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
