At the state level, legislatures continue to pass election integrity reforms to ensure our elections are safe and secure.
In Michigan, the legislature this week passed election integrity bills to mandate voter ID for vote-by-mail and ban mass mailing of absentee ballots among other provisions. Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer has her veto pen ready—we’re under no illusion that she would support voter ID.
Having built a coalition and gained momentum, grassroots activists in Michigan are already preparing a ballot initiative <[link removed]> to workaround Gov. Whitmer and enact election integrity reforms.
Meanwhile, in Washington, the House and Senate were in recess this week. So most of the “work” performed was backroom negotiations among Democrat factions over Biden’s $3.5 trillion tax, debt, and spending bill.
Here’s why that should concern you...
Dems Weaponizing the IRS
The Biden agenda is becoming clearer––use government to appease progressive elites while hurting the American worker.
Biden’s $3.5 trillion tax, debt, and spending bill includes $80 billion to double the number of IRS agents, adding 87,000 new agents.
Biden claims that doubling the IRS bureaucracy is about making sure the rich pay their fair share, but if that’s the case, why is there also a provision to allow the IRS to spy on any American with more than $600 in their bank account?
If it seems like a smokescreen, it’s because it is.
Just like the rest of the $3.5 trillion bill, the brunt will fall on working Americans. Democrats want to expand the power of the IRS to go after every American, rich or poor.
This reckless $3.5 trillion tax, debt, and spending bill will also drive up inflation and impose Green New Deal mandates on energy producers. Both of which hurt American workers––inflation is a tax on EVERYONE and higher monthly gas and electric bills affect EVERYONE.

Vaccine Mandates Crush the Workforce
In early September, Biden announced that the federal government will mandate vaccines for companies with 100 or more employees. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will implement its directive to companies nationwide any day now, making the vaccine mandate official and enforceable.
Besides the legal questions surrounding this directive, a vaccine mandate is unnecessary and counterproductive.
Over 95% of elderly Americans <[link removed]> have already chosen to be vaccinated. Having that option is important because older people are at the highest risk––over 75% <[link removed]> of people who have died from Covid were 65+.
Whether to be vaccinated or not is a personal health decision that should be made by an individual and their doctor. The federal government SHOULD NOT be in the business of mandating vaccines.
Vaccine mandates hurt families in a very personal way—forcing parents and providers into unemployment is the complete antithesis of the American dream.
And you can see the societal effects on the macro-level as well. Biden’s failed policies have already prolonged the labor shortage and caused major supply chain issues.
In September, the nation only added 194,000 jobs <[link removed]>, far short of the expected 500,000. This slow recovery will be made worse by overreaching mandates.
LEGISLATIVE ALERT!!! >>> Democrats have put a provision into their reckless $3.5 trillion bill that will fine companies $700,000 for not complying with the mandate. It’s just one more reason to oppose this bill.
Biden’s message is clear: submit to the federal government’s will on vaccines or lose your job.
In a free country, you shouldn’t have to make that choice.
Justice Department labels Parents as “Domestic Terrorists”
Biden’s vaccine mandate is just one piece of the administration's lurch towards authoritarianism.
Just last week, days after teachers unions complained to Biden <[link removed]> about parents holding them accountable, Attorney General Garland’s politicized Justice Department dispatched the FBI <[link removed]> on Americans who dare to protest the racist propaganda being taught to their children.
This follows on the heels of Garland’s politicized lawsuits against Texas for its Heartbeat Act and against Georgia for its election integrity law, smearing Georgians as racist for supporting common-sense practices like voter ID.
And Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona recently <[link removed]> refused to say that parents are “primary” stakeholders in their children’s education. Earlier this year, the Department of Education announced grants to schools to teach critical race theory concepts and the 1619 Project curriculum, but backed off the plan <[link removed]> after receiving tens of thousands of comments from activists including Heritage Action Sentinels.
It’s no coincidence who Biden and his cronies in the liberal bureaucracy are targeting: the Americans that are standing up for life, for election integrity, for their paychecks, and for schools in record numbers.
But no matter how hard Biden and Garland work to bully Americans into silence, Americans will not be deterred.
