OCTOBER GENERAL MEETING
TODAY AT 4PM!
WHEN & WHERE?
The meeting will take place from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the CWA Local #3204 Union Hall (279 Logan Street SE in Downtown Atlanta), which is a one-story building with an accessible entrance.
YES, IT'S A POTLUCK
Can't spark a revolution without adequate fuel! If you are able, please bring a dish to share with your comrades. (Pro tip: Don't forget your serving utensil, if your dish requires it!)
RESOLUTIONS ON THE TABLE
We will be voting on two resolutions. **Members, please review before the meeting**
Reminder: You must be a MADSA member to vote on resolutions. Not yet a member? Dues lapsed? Join/renew your membership today to ensure your voice is heard!
OCTOBER'S FEATURED SPEAKER
Our featured speaker at this meeting will be Clarkston City Councilwoman Andrea Cervone. She will discuss how her progressive slate, led by Clarkston Mayor Ted Terry, turned the city of Clarkston — the most diverse square mile in America — into one of the most progressive cities in the South. Cervone is requesting Metro Atlanta DSA's endorsement for her re-election campaign, and we will be voting on the Andrea Cervone endorsement resolution today.
CHILDWATCH AVAILABLE
Children are welcome and childwatch is available. Please let a volunteer know if you need childwatch at the meeting check-in desk.
That's all folks! See you there!
