The Freedom to Vote Act was introduced in the House last month, and if passed would be the most comprehensive voter reform bill enacted in decades. This bill includes similar provisions to the For the People Act, such as expanding access to the polls through initiatives like requiring all states to offer early voting and creating national vote-by-mail.
We have come to you before when Federal election reform has been on the table, and we won’t give up until we get voting rights protections passed for every American voter. Can you add your name to show Congress that we want the Freedom to Vote Act Passed?
If passed, this bill would combat voter suppression policies that Republican elected officials have introduced nationwide. Jena has spoken out against voter suppression of all forms and stopped this kind of legislation from being implemented in Colorado, but a Federal bill is the only way to ensure that voters in every state are guaranteed the same protections.
