"This is what the Lord Almighty says: 'Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.' "

- Zechariah 7:9

Africa
- Praise God for two rescue
operations that happened earlier this week and resulted in four children now walking free! These children were enslaved
and forced to work in the fishing industry in Ghana —
please pray for them and for their comfort and healing from the trauma they experienced.
Latin America
- Praise God for Jakelin,
a survivor of sexual violence in Guatemala, who has reached such transforming restoration that she is now telling her story to inspire others
and using her voice to advocate for justice. Last week, Jakelin joined nearly 300 IJM volunteers at the Advocacy Summit to
meet with their representatives on Capitol Hill and advocate for vulnerable women and children in Central America. Praise God for her
courage in speaking on behalf of people who are currently suffering under violence
and oppression. Please pray for all officials Jakelin was able to meet with, that
their hearts would be moved to take bold steps of action to protect the most vulnerable in
Central America.

- Praise God for proactive police officers in one of our project areas
who arrested 91 suspected traffickers in the last few weeks alone. These suspects had spent years trafficking families in poverty into forced labor in brick kilns, factories and other businesses around the country. Our team
has been working closely with authorities to help them understand and prioritize human trafficking, so we are so thrilled to see the system finally working against this crime!
Pray this momentum would continue, and that other traffickers would see these arrests and stop exploiting people in poverty.

Southeast Asia
- Please pray for more shelters that will accept survivors of cybersex trafficking, especially mixed sibling groups of boys and girls. Please also pray that there will be more available foster parents who can care for very young survivors.
