A lot of political candidates spend hours and hours a day on the phone with wealthy corporate donors, trying to win their favor in exchange for a big check — like our opponent Henry Cuellar.
But that’s not how we’re running this campaign.
We’re building this campaign from a place of love and care for our community right here in South Texas. We come from all walks of life. It’s a priority for us to make sure that those most impacted by policy have a voice in the political process.
That’s why, instead of chatting with corporate PACs or ultra-wealthy donors with ties to dark money groups, I want to talk to you.
Today marks an important mid-month fundraising deadline for our campaign, so as a way of saying thank you ahead of our mid-month deadline, I’m personally calling some of the folks who chip in. We’re only $3,578 away from reaching our mid-month goal for October.
