*Governor Parson's Schedule for October 19 - 22**, 2021*

*(JEFFERSON CITY, MO)* ? Next week, Governor Mike Parson will?participate in various official meetings at the State Capitol as well as attend several events across the state.

On *Tuesday*, *October 19*, Governor Parson will speak at the Missouri State Teacher of the Year Awards Banquet. He and the First Lady will also receive their annual flu shot at the State Capitol.?

On *Wednesday*, *October 20*, Governor Parson will attend the Build My Future Construction Industry Expo and speak at the memorial ceremony for the late Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Director Carol Comer. He will also participate in a Jobs for America Graduates (JAG) board meeting.

On *Thursday*, *October 21*, Governor Parson will travel to Kansas City to welcome a?F?d?ration Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) delegation to Missouri to discuss Kansas City as a host city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.?

Governor Parson will then return to Jefferson City to join the Missouri Department of Agriculture and Missouri Pork Association in presenting a proclamation celebrating October as Pork Month in Missouri. He will also award the Governor's Cup at the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperative's (AMEC) Lineman's Rodeo and speak at the Hunt Institute's Missouri Legislator Retreat.?

Governor Parson will conclude the day with a tour of Bolivar Technical College to learn about its RN to BSN Completion Program.?

On *Friday*, *October 22,* Governor Parson will attend the 2021 Priebe Strong 1062 dinner, dedicated to Mark Priebe of the Springfield Police Department who was injured in the line of duty in June 2020.?
