I'm about to ask you for $20, John – but first, I want to explain why:

When our legislative session begins in January, we won't be able to fundraise for several months, but the fundraising blackout may begin as early as December. So I'm asking every supporter to pitch in $20 today to help us raise as much as we can before the end of the year.

Our grassroots movement has already done so much for the people of New Mexico: We’ve had the most successful vaccination campaign in the country, invested in our schools and educators, raised the minimum wage for the first time in a decade, and provided crucial relief for small businesses during the pandemic.

But there’s still so much work to be done – and that means we need to elect Democrats up and down the ballot to pass our bold agenda. If New Mexico flips red, all of our progress could be undone.

I know December sounds far off, but for our finance team, it's right around the corner. They tell me that if we don't hit our fundraising goals this month, we'll have to face some tough decisions about our outreach efforts as this election heats up.

So, I'm turning to my strongest supporters today for your help. Your $20 is all we need to hit our $22,000 goal and continue working on our bold, progressive agenda for New Mexico. Please, John, I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important:

We only have until midnight tomorrow to reach our goal. Will you donate $20 right now to keep New Mexico blue?

None of the work we've accomplished would have been possible without your help. I can't thank you enough for your grassroots support.
