Team, in just a few weeks, Virginia will arrive at a crossroads.

We’ll have to decide if we’re going to allow the Republican-controlled General Assembly to continue stonewalling progress or if we’re going to elect a Democratic majority that will push our Commonwealth forward in 2019 and 2020.

For me, the choice is crystal clear. That’s why I’ve spent so much time on the road lately, campaigning for local Democratic candidates all across Virginia. But even if we win big next month, we’ll still have to dig in and defend our hard-earned gains in 2020.

With Election Day on November 5th, we’ve got a lot of work to do and not much time left. Will you split a donation between my re-election campaign and the Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA)?

Here’s what we need to do if we want to see progress in Virginia:

• Step 1: Retake the House of Delegates and Virginia Senate on November 5th. We can do this by knocking on as many doors as possible and talking to as many Virginians as possible.
• Step 2: Protect our progress by keeping Virginia blue and making sure I’m able to continue fighting for all of you in the Senate.

None of this is possible without the help of folks like you. Your help is absolutely essential to winning big in November and defending our wins in 2020.
