This week Donald Trump endorsed my Republican opponent for governor of Virginia, Glenn Youngkin, and held a rally to support his campaign.

Attendees kicked off the event by pledging allegiance to a flag that flew at the deadly January 6th insurrection.

That right there represents what we are up against. This is a battle to determine whether truth or Trump’s Big Lie will prevail. It’s a battle for civil rights, voting rights, and a woman’s right to choose. That’s why VoteVets endorsed my campaign, because this race is so important.

But the polls are incredibly close -- some polls show me just one point ahead of my Republican opponent. So we need to make the most out of the final couple of weeks we have left until Election Day. So I have to ask:
