In a moment I'm going to ask you to
chip in $3 toward my mid-month fundraising goal. But first, let me explain what's at stake right now.
Earlier this week, we got word that Kevin McCarthy has raised
tens of millions in his bid to take back the House and become Speaker. Trump's far-right donor base is rushing to fill his coffers. If we don't hold him accountable for abandoning working families here in the Central Valley, then he could very well become Speaker.
If McCarthy becomes Speaker, we know
he'll do whatever Trump tells him to. Sorry to put that dark thought in your head, but it's true unless we do something about it.
We need to make sure that undecided voters in our community know that Kevin has completely turned his back on us to raise money from the far-right, but in order to do so, we need to raise the funds needed to staff our field effort. That's where you come in:

The truth is that fundraising is just one small part of winning an election. It's important to remember that McCarthy's money is coming from far-right donors who are chipping in because he's blocking the investigation into the January 6th insurrection.
There is a baseline of funds we need to fund our voter contact effort and I've been amazed at how many grassroots donors have chipped in already.
