Republican AGs won’t stop defending extremist, conservative, antiquated bans on our bodies. We need to defeat them. Learn more:
Friend,
Democratic AGs have protected the right to reproductive health care, including the right to access a safe abortion. They’ve filed three legal briefs to fight back against Texas’ abortion ban that was allowed to go into effect, Mississippi’s direct challenge to Roe v. Wade, and South Carolina’s abortion ban.
Republican AGs aren’t just joining in the fight to take away abortion rights; they’re leading it. Which is why we had to show you this headline from NBC:
Republican AGs are actively fighting to defend these abortion bans, and some of them are trying to do everything they can to ensure these bans go into effect.
Kentucky’s extremist Republican AG isn’t the only one defending these antiquated assaults on our rights. Here’s a small sample of what GOP AGs are doing:
Indicted Texas Republican AG Ken Paxton is a leading defender of Texas’ six-week abortion ban that the Supreme Court allowed to go into effect. He’s up for reelection next year.
Extremist Georgia Republican AG Chris Carr is the lead defender of Georgia’s abortion ban that is currently pending in a federal court. He’s up for reelection next year.
Virginia’s pro-Trump Republican AG nominee Jason Miyares is running on an anti-abortion platform, and polling shows he’s within striking distance of winning. Virginia’s election is in just 18 days.
The fight to replace these anti-choice GOP AGs is now -- because these attacks will get bolder and grow stronger if we don’t win at the polls this year, next year, and in the years to come.
We can’t lose this fight,
