This is a big moment for our movement. I’ve been leading Congressional Democrats in a fight to deliver the core of our popular agenda — the agenda we won the House, the Senate, and the White House on. On our side, we have President Biden, 96% of Democrats, and the people. On the other side, there’s Wall Street, Big Pharma, and corporate America.
Our side has grassroots energy, strength, and resolve. The other side has unlimited amounts of money to dump into attack ads to influence policy and public opinion. We have the power to pass a Democratic agenda that invests in working people, families, and our communities. We can address the climate crisis too. But only if we keep showing the power of our progressive movement.
The popular Build Back Better Act is on the line right now. That means investments in child care, paid leave, universal pre-K, community college, climate action, affordable housing, Medicare expansion, climate action, a roadmap to citizenship for immigrants — it’s all on the line.
