John, today I’m going to ask you to donate our average email donation of $27 -- or even $2.70 -- and I hope you’ll take a moment to let me explain why.

I was looking at our numbers, and realized our average email donation is $27.

That means the world to me, John.

While many people receive thousand dollar checks from corporate PACs, this is a grassroots team giving what they can, when they can.

I know what your money can do in your pocket.

$27 is a chunk of your grocery bill.
$27 is half a tank of gas.
$27 is clothes for your kids.

So when I see donors like you give $27 to this campaign, I can’t help but be honored by your belief in this work.

And we have a lot of work to do, John.

With Republicans targeting 47 House seats next year to take back the majority, preparations need to be made now.

My team has set a hefty $20,000 this month, and I could really use your help to get there. So I have to ask -- whether it’s $2.70 or $27 -- can you donate right now to support my work in Congress?
