Tim Kaine here, U.S. Senator representing the Commonwealth of Virginia.

I’m personally reaching out today to talk about the upcoming elections here in Virginia — and about my good friend Hala Ayala.

I was so proud to cast my early vote ballot for Hala for Lt. Governor last month. I know Hala, and I know how hard she works for our Commonwealth. With just weeks left in this election, I'm asking: Will you chip in $3 to help elect Hala? Every dollar counts in a race like this, and we're coming down to the wire.

John, I’ve spent my career fighting for Virginians, from my days on Richmond City Council to the halls of the U.S. Capitol — and I've even served as Virginia's Lieutenant Governor, so I know what it takes to do that job. Let me tell you: Hala has what it takes.

Hala is a proven leader in the Virginia House of Delegates — leading the charge to expand Medicare to hundreds of thousands of folks, protecting our rights, and so much more.

I know that as our next Lt. Governor, Hala will continue trailblazing a better Virginia for all of us — but we aren’t across the finish line yet.

She's fighting against an extreme Republican opponent and national GOP money from wealthy donors who are determined to take back power and show the country that Virginia isn't blue. But we know better — we know that together, we can elect Hala and our slate of great Democrats, keep building on our majorities, and get things done for the people of Virginia.

So I’m coming to you with this important request: Can I count on you to contribute $3 toward Hala Ayala’s historic campaign for Lt. Governor? Election Day is around the corner, and Hala needs resources to win this fight.
