Don’t be fooled by the false promises of “universal child care” and “universal preschool.”                              Â
Friend,
On its surface, the concept of government-subsidized day care and preschool sounds nice.
🛑 WARNING: IT’S MISLEADING 🛑 ([link removed])
I’m a mom of 5, and I have a staff of 25 women, most of whom are moms themselves. And let’s face it: child care is expensive.
However, what the left is proposing in the $3.5 TRILLION big-government spending bill is anything BUT good for women, children, and the economy.
What the administration and Congress are REALLY proposing is a government-takeover of day care and preschool, which is a dangerous and terrifying concept.
If they fund it, they control it… NOT you.
STOP GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER OF CHILD CARE ([link removed])
… It’s especially terrifying, considering the current state of our K-12 government-run public school systems, where critical thinking is being replaced by Critical Race Theory.
… And it’s even more terrifying, in light of the federal government’s recent decision to weaponize the FBI to investigate parents who “dare” to speak out against radical concepts, like CRT, or the availability of porn in public school libraries.
All this will do is indoctrinate America’s children and put political activists in control of a never-ending government entitlement system that would now truly be cradle to grave.
STOP THE BIG-GOVERNMENT OVERREACH ([link removed])
The horse-jockeying that’s happening in Congress over this $3.5 trillion “human infrastructure” (aka budget reconciliation) bill is exhausting to follow.
But we really need your help to stop this from happening by contacting your member of Congress and senators today, and urge them to: ([link removed])
✏️ REMOVE “universal child care” and “universal preschool” from the $3.5 trillion spending bill
✏️ STOP the government takeover of day care and preschool
Thanks,
Carrie Lukas
