I’m crunching the numbers to see our progress for October so far, and although the month is halfway over, we’re not halfway where we need to be to reach our monthly fundraising goal. After this week’s news of the GOP establishment adding our opponent to their list of candidates to watch in 2022, we need to step it up.
Right now we’re about $12,000 short of where we aimed to be at this point in the month, so I’m reaching out to see if you can help us close the gap by Sunday night. If everyone reading this email chips in just $5, we’ll get back on track in no time.
Looking at the budget, we need to invest more in our voter outreach operation to make sure we reach the thousands of Mainers who are new to the Second District -- but we can't do that without reaching our October fundraising goal.
Falling short this month could mean pushing back our timeline for when we can scale up our operation -- simply put, we can’t afford for that to be the case.
