Did you read The Stranger's lengthy endorsement of Nikkita Oliver and Nicole Thomas-Kennedy? It was good. Seattle DSA endorsed the two most experienced candidates running for Seattle City Council Position 9 and Seattle City Attorney and their politics, as the article dives into, was formed in tired struggle alongside oppressed and dispossessed peoples. Nikkita Oliver and Nicole Thomas Kennedy are the real deal, fighting for abolition and radical politics to build power for our class and co-conspiring to defend Black lives.
The reactionaries are desperate. Instead of policies that improve the lives of people everywhere (like housing for all), big business wants to keep the debate on sarcastic tweets or moving-too-much-while-voting-and-black. They don't have ideas that would benefit you and ran inexperienced candidates with no background in movement work. Nikkita Oliver and NTK do. So read the endorsement and enjoy it, knowing Fox News is shitting themselves into thinking Nikkita Oliver and NTK are Juche-Anarcho-Bidenist-Liberal-Communists or whatever incoherent string of adjectives is on bougie boomer bingo sheets this week. We got a world to win and housing for all to make happen!
