I’m excited to let you know that I’m running for re-election for Ward 6!
Together, we've done great things in Ward 6 and for our city. It takes bold leadership and working side-by-side to get that job done. Working for you, I’ve put a priority on tackling the tough issues - focusing on our schools, affordable housing, public safety, and investing in working families. I’ve worked hard with neighbors to create new parks and playgrounds, modernize schools and libraries, and rethink our public spaces that serve as our town squares where we come together. And when crisis strikes - whether it’s a fire that displaces seniors or a life-altering pandemic that tears through our city - I’m proud of the work we’re doing together to rebuild and recover.
I’m running again, and asking for your support, because the work isn’t done. Not by a long shot. We’ve got big challenges we need to solve - public safety, education, and making our streets safer no matter how you get around. And I want to work for a fair and equitable recovery from this pandemic that builds our city to be the one we know it can be - supporting working families, helping seniors age in their community, and being a great place to call home.
Now, I need your help. As with every campaign I’ve run, I don’t take corporate and PAC money. I keep it focused on you. And as a Fair Elections candidate, your contribution gets matched with public financing to make a big impact. Please chip in $10, $25, or $50 to launch this re-election campaign.
In order to qualify for the Fair Elections program, I need to receive 150 donations from DC residents. Can you help me reach that goal?
