The last few months in Washington State, we’ve seen major impacts from the climate crisis already. From raging wildfires to unprecedented heat waves, it’s clear that our state is going to be impacted even more by this global threat.
The UN report shows that we are reaching the point of no return. The actions we take right now will impact our state’s future for generations to come.
Recent reports confirm what we already know too well here in Washington: the climate crisis is catastrophic and it will only get worse — unless we act now.
With our legislative session starting in January, we know we must continue to take historic action to halt climate change. Will you step up now to show your support for smart climate solutions? We need 3,000 signatures THIS WEEK. [[link removed]]SIGN ON [[link removed]]
Last legislative session, Senate Dems pushed forward the Climate Commitment Act to create a cap-and-invest program and slash greenhouse gas emissions; passed a new low carbon fuel standard ; and passed the HEAL Act to prioritize racial equity and environmental justice.
This next session, we have the chance to go even further, but must have your support.
The climate crisis is dangerous and it’s up to us to demand action in the years to come. Sign our petition for bold climate action now → [[link removed]]
Thanks for standing with us today.
